Restoring the heritage-listed heart of a historic school
Quick overview
In 2021, St Joseph’s Nudgee College revitalised its Treacy Centre: the school’s longest standing structure.
Our goals and challenges
Students continued to use the centre during the restoration. So we had to work without disrupting their studies – or risking their safety.
We also needed to factor in the building’s age and fragility during both the design and installation phases.
Key outcomes
Since the precinct was heritage listed, this project demanded precision. And we delivered. We continue to work with the college and service the Treacy Centre’s fire safety systems.
